Chelle's Menu 1/21-1/27


*Good morning all!  I hope I am on my way back.  Have been sick with blood sugars...but think that is back normal.    Forgot my quick track at the house, so will have to make sure I get everything down here until I get home and can write it down.
Have a blessed day!

Daily Point Total = 23 pts

Breakfast:
2 Nutragrain low fat waffles = 2 pts
1 small apple = 1 pt
Decaf mint green tea = 0 pts

Used = 3 pts    Left = 20 pts

Lunch:
LC Spinach pizza = 6 pts
Salad with 2 Tbsp light olive oil dressing = 1 pts
1 small apple = 1 pt

Used = 8 pts    Left = 12 pts

Snacks:
Popcorn = 1 pt

Used = 1 pt    Left = 11 pts

Dinner:
Chicken Enchilada Casserole III = 5 pts
15 baked scoops = 2 pts
Salsa = 0 pts
Yes I"m actually cooking tonight! 

Used = 7 pts     Left = 4 pts

Before bed:
100 cal pack = 2 pts
Popcorn = 1 pt

Used = 3 pts   Left = 1 pt

*Ugh!!!!  It's exercise torture Tuesday!!!!  I did my morning exercise "homework" already.  I'll meet the ladies from church at 4:45 for our 30 min walk and then be at Wil's gym for my torture session!!!!    Will I be able to walk tomorrow????

*Didn' t get to exercise yesterday afternoon and evening due to blood sugars again. I am hoping just overdoing it last week with classes starting back and Aunt Flo coming sometime the end of this week are the reasons. We will see. I'm still not feeling too hot today...so my menu will be light probably.

Shelly -- do you think maybe you ought to talk to your doctor? I don't mean to be a nag, but it seems to be happening quite a lot lately. Maybe God's trying to tell you something .... like slooooow down! And I'm being serious (mostly) .... keep an eye on yourself. Don't make me call Z ... or MrsP and her wet noodle! (Ya know she could tie ya down to slow ya down!)

Where's your menu for today???

I've been checking over your menus and one thing that I'm noticing in most of them, is that you aren't getting a whole lot of protein items.  You don't have many of your dinners posted, so I don't know what you usually have for dinners.

Do you think that you may need more protein in your diet? Wouldn't that help with the bs?

Just a thought ...

*Doing better this morning!  Hope it stays that way!!!
Weigh in is tonight...don't look forward to it....high blood sugars mean extra insulin....which means it changes to fat....YUCK!!!  But I'll be good and go!

I was posting my menu while you were apparently.    I got a rush here at the store of students and so it took me quite awhile to post it.

I do eat most of my meat at dinner.  I will keep it in mind though to push it some.

Just a suggestion, but maybe you should eat a little more protein and spread it more through out the day. Would that help? Maybe?
