My name is KC, I am from New York. I am 44 years old, married and have been doing WW since Jan. 1 2007. My husband is also on WW. He has lost 20 pounds and I have lost 13 pounds. I am 5'8" and my weight is now 221 from 234.
Hi KC, my name is Joy. Don't live all that far from you , I live in Mass. Sounds like the 2 of you are doing a good job so far. I have been on ww since April of 2006, I have lost about 65 lbs nd have just recently became a life time member. It was a little tough for me seeing I don't eat veggies but I managed and did it. It is helpful when you have someone to do it with. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, you are such an inspiration , I saw your picture and you look great. I have a long way to go and hope I can make it. Night time is hard for me, cravings.
Funny you talk about night cravings. I never really had snacks before. I just didn't eat right. Wouldn't eat all day. But when I started ww and had to eat so many points through the day I started thinking about the snacks that never really fazed me before. And never really had anything after supper at night. NOW I try to make sure I eat light during the day and have 1 point snacks so I can have my snacks at night. And I have to make sure I have enough points to have 3 snacks at night. Everyone laughs at me because I was never that way before. And I always have to have my cup of chocolate milk every night at 10:30. If I run out I'm lost without it. And thank you for the compliment, I still have work to do too. I have a lot of toning to do but just can't seem to get motivated to do it but I really have to , before the warm weather gets here. Keep up the good work

Hi KC and welcome!
I'm sorry it's taken me a while to welcome you!!!
I am a 42 year old SAHM to a 15 year old daughter (LilMs) who is joining WW this week. I too have just started WW -- only about 2 weeks ago. I have my 2nd week weigh in tomorrow. My DH is also doing this with us, though he's not joined WW.
Congrats on your weight loss! Keep up the great work! It's nice to have a partner to do this with, isn't it?! It helps a lot to hold you to it and have that support.
You'll really like it here at the Skinny Cook. These ladies are all a huge support and provide lots of encouragement along with some great recipes! They've all been a great inspiration to me.
Good luck on your journey to a healthier you ... remember this is a life style and not a diet!
I'm Chelle, the co-mod of the group. Sorry it has taken me awhile to welcome you. I stay busy homeschooling our 2 daughters, helping my hubby run my fil's store on a college campus, and my hubby is also an associate pastor....soooo...like I said I stay pretty busy!
ANYWAY...welcome to our group. Colette, or Coe as we call her, is our moderator and the founder of our group. She has done a wonderful job!!!
Please feel free to post your highs and lows. We are here for each other and to learn together! Check out some recipes, post some recipes, and please let us know how the recipes turn out in our recipe review. If you are looking for a particular ingredient or recipe, use the search box at the top.
You are doing a good job. I have been a member of WW since Sept. 2005 and at my most lost 26 lbs. I have gained some back (some due to health reasons), but am pushing to get the loss back off. My hubby, David, has been doing WW with me (he did not join WW, but is just doing it with me...it is a great support! ) and has lost 71 lbs.
Keep up the great work ... and again... welcome!!!

Hi, I am Annalee. I'm a working mom of 3 kids and one husband. I work for Wally World. I have been a member of weight watchers Since July and I have lost 34 pounds. I hit that table where you can't move the scale down for awhile. I have Hypothyroidism so when I hit that, I hit it pretty hard. My Endocrinologist said I could be here for months while we adjust meds and then my body adjusts to the 34 pounds I lost so far. That is my 4 year old's weight. As long as I don't gain it back, I will be ok.
Thank you all for the welcome. I found this forum when i was looking for crockpot recipes. My husband gave me one for christmas. Great people, support and recipes. And yes, it has to be a lifestyle change for me
