What do you all have going on over the 4th? Do you have any challenging situations (BBQs, picnics, parties, family reunions?)
As most of you know, our dear Cassi will be at my house for her now yearly visit. I'm so excited!!! We will be having a couple of my girlfriends over for a cookout, going to watch fireworks and maybe have a sit in the hot tub before I try to sell it. It should be great!
What are you doing? If you have a challenging food realated event, how are you planning your strategy to deal with it? Making any great WW friendly recipes? Let us know. If you don't have a strategy to deal with the situation, that's what we're here for.

My major challenge for the entire summer is limiting my nice cold beers!
We went to a picnic on Saturday and I brought with me the Becks Premium Light - 64 calories per bottle which is ONE POINT! (Not a bad beer.) I did pretty good on Saturday. I only went over by 1.5 points into my WPA's but I did also earn 3 Activity points for that very reason (I knew i would be going over!)
Since the 4th falls in the middle of the week, we still have to work the other days so we are staying at home....but truly looking forward to that. That will make it easier, too. We don't drink so that isn't a problem for us. We will probably grill, but I get the leanest ground beef and/or fat free/light hot dogs. I also (if I use buns) use the light ones that are one pt. I may try to get David to grill some squash and other veggies! YUM!!!!
Tuesday night a neighboring town has a drive-in theater that is showing a triple feature....all for one price (Ratatouie (sp?), Pirates 3 and Knocked Up). We are not staying with Knocked Up since it will be late and it is rated R and we will be there with our kids. We are meeting another couple there with their kids. It won't be too hard to be good becuase the other couple we are meeting are my former WW leader and her hubby!
