I cant stay on too long, but I wanted to let everyone know what was going on with me.
As some of you know, I've been sick for a couple of months. I went to the ER on Thrusday, with a swollen thigh and leg. The docs thought I might have a blood clot, but the sonogram showed I didn't. The blood test they performed said I might have one.
The docs think it's acutally my fibroid tumors causing all the problem...soooooo...more tests this week (a pelvic sonogram and enometiral biopsy) but it's looking more and more like I'm in for a hystorectomy. As a single mom, thats pretty scarey! But, God will see Sam and me through...I just want to get it over with (if that is what will happen, should find out this week I guess)...I want to be well!
The good part is, that I hvn't been eating much and I'm down to 235. NOT the way to do it!
I may be offline for a while...don't feel up to doing anything, but I will probably be anoying you all constantly if I do have surgury and am home recovering with nothing to do but play on the puter!

Hi, This is Barb and Mary from Weight Watchers on Wed. morning. We'll be thinking about you-I can't believe how much you've lost! Let us know how you're doing.
As some of you know...it turned out to be alot more serious than just fibroids. It turns out that I have colon cancer and that it has spread to a couple of other organs.
I had surgery and was in the hospital for 3 weeks and now I'm going through chemotherapy. I feel FANTASTIC! I know that sounds weird, but I plan on beating this thing!
Please keep us in your prayers. Sam and I are doing great and keeping the faith. Please keep us in your prayers...they are so very much appreciated and they are working! I believe that!
I'll try to keep up with the website better, at least until I go back to work in April...lol.
