7/31/2006 Monday!!!


*How was everyone's weekend?  Ours went by too fast as usual.  Today is the first day of school.  The public schools here are on what is called year-around or 10-month school.  They go 9 weeks and are off 2 with 8 weeks off in the summer.  Even though we homeschool, we tend to stay with the public school schedule, so the girls can do things with their friends during the breaks.  So in honor of my girls, my pics today are ballet! 



Daily point total = 22


Morning: 
1 cup puffed wheat cereal = 1 pt
1 cup milk (1/2 in cereal, 1/2 in Chai) = 2
Chai tea = 0 pts


Used = 3    Left = 19


Afternoon: 
1 cup chicken & rice soup = 2 pts
Fried noodles = 6 pts (these 2 things are leftovers from yesterday)
Cucumber = 0 pts


Used = 8 pts    Left = 11 pts


Evening: 
Lean Cuisine Brick Oven Pizza = 6 pts
Salad with fat free Italian dressing = 0 pts
Ice cream sandwich = 2 pts


Used = 8 pts    Left = 3 pts


Snacks: 
Popcorn = 2 pts (will have 2 servings today)
Tootsie Pop = 1 pt


Used = 3 pts   Left = 0 pts


Milk:

This weekend was just horrible eating wise. I didn't record, I didn't measure or keep track. I didn't eat bad food, Just ate more than I should. Even when I got in 14 points of activity so far this week and I need to do 10 more points of it.


I don't think that even going outside for a few seconds and sweating imeditately counts as high intensity activty.


Today:


     Breakfast:


          1 cup Special K with 1/2 cup ff milk and one banana  (4 points)


     Lunch: Pork roast sandwich    7 points


     Dinner:


          Spaghetti, tossed Salad, Garlic bread    7 points.


 


**Edit,  Too hot for spaghetti, So Mc D's in stead. I had a the bacon Ranch with Grilled chicken, No dressing and it's 5 points.  Instead of cobbler, it's too hot to turn on the stove let alone oven for an hour, I am making peach, Pineapple and banana smoothies.


3 peaches, 1 small can of pineapple tibbits and juice, 1 frozen banana in chunks, 1 cup ff plain yogurt, and 2 c ff milk.  Makes 4 servings  4 points per serving.


 


Activity: Running up and Down the stairs with Laundry and grocery shopping.  I have to take my mom shopping and pushing her in her wheelchair is good for 5 points. The peaches are here from MO and  I think I earned a  small serving of peach cobbler, without the ice cream.
