Beginning again questions!

Ok I may be co-mod...but I still need a lot of help.  I am going to start re-reading my book one (hopefully today after I get my kids' tests and other schoolwork out of the way).  However, I have some questions:

1.  What makes something a milk product (that counts as a milk)?

2.  What kinds of vitamins are the best (yet not expensive) to take?

I will probably think of some more.

Please, even if you are new to the group or WW, if you can help answer these, I'd really appreicate it.

Thanks!

#2 answer is the Equate one a day. That is what I take.

As for the other I couldn't tell you. Maybe it has something to do with a calcuim?

Milk..

OK...From what I understand, WW may be (if they havn't already) changed their calcium and protein requirements...but this is what we've been going by.

To be considered a dairy serving a product must have at least 9 g of protein and 30% calcium. That means skim milk, soy milk, plain fat free yogurt...NOT the WW yogurt .

So read your labels.

As for the vitamins...I would take a good one a day. I know that One A Day vitamins makes a weight control formula but I havn't tried it yet. Now I take alot of seperate vitamins because I want extra chromium picolonate and green tea (both supposed to help us lose body fat and the chromium helps control blood sugars).

I take 1000 mg of vitamin C, 2 green tea capsules, vitamin B complex, Folic acid, and 500 mg of chromium picolonate per day. The B helps me deal with stress (supposed to help keep cortisol from adding to my tummy fat). When I remember to get it (need some) I also take DHEA (also known as Tonalin). It is supposed to blast belly fat...and that's my BIGGEST...and I do mean BIGGEST...problem area! Also, I take COQ10. But, you should be able to find all of these in one good weight control one a day vitamin forumula.

Hope this helps. Have a good weekend! Love ya, Coe
