I did WW meetings back about 5 or so years ago. I liked going but then I also did it on my own at home last year & was fine doing it that way. However, when I do it on my own, I tend to start adding things back in & not really following points all that closely.
Anyways, I'm thinking about going back to the meetings but I was wondering they they still talk about points at the meetings or do they only talk about Core? I'm only interested in doing points so I don't have to learn anything new :)
Coe would probably know more than I do, but I joined in Sept of 2005 and the program has changed since then. Matter of fact it just changed. The pts system is different now. It doesn't just go by your weight now. I gained a pt on mine and my husband went from 24 to 33 pts. Apparently the old system was based on a middle-aged woman of average height and weight. Guys were not getting enough food and your height, weight, age, and activity level figure in now...as well as male, female, or nursing mother.
As far as meetings go, I'd say they are all a little different, but my leader doesn't spend a lot of time on points or Core. She does more things to help us lose. Like giving us ideas, etc. Pts and Core do come up, but that is normally in questions and stuff. Maybe some of the others can let you know about their meetings, too.
