It's been pointed out to me that I haven't been getting all my fruits and veggies in like I had thought. I was under the impression that all fruits and veggie serving sizes (except for leafy greens) were 1/2 cup, as stated in the front of the new book. But it's not too specific. The berry type fruits (such as strawberries, blueberries, grapes, etc) serving size is anywhere between 1 cup to 1 1/2 cups.
So, I will try to watch that more carefully. Also, I was cutting up the strawberries and measuring them that way, when I probably should have measured them whole and then cut them.

OH! I also learned at meeting last night that you can count potatoes as a veggie -- as long as they are real potatoes and not the boxed/pouch kind!
Today is LilMs' first dance ... she's going to Sweetheart Dance with a few of her friends. She's excited, but nervous also. We've got a lot to do today, including me doing her hair up, so you may not see much of me today! LOL Hope you all have a great weekend!
