I don't have diabetes, but there are a couple of ladies in my WW meeting who do, and they have said that it has helped keep their blood sugars more level. I've also read that on other boards ...
Chelle, here, does have diabetes, so she could answer your question on a more personal level. Rather than my "I heard ... " LOL
I would think that if someone with diabetes is following the WW program wholeheartedly, it would help. You're eating the proper foods, in the proper balances, in the proper time frames ... keeping everything in balance.
I know it has helped my DH who is the opposite of diabetic -- he's borderline hypo-glycemic. Because he's eating more fruits and veggies and fiber, it's really helped him! It's even gotten rid of the horrible headaches he used to get everyday!
Yep! I take less insulin the less I weigh. Plus weight loss is helps all the way around with the diabetes.
The only drawback I have had is when I drop. I tend to use my 35 weekly points for that...not all at one time, but that is where I get the points to bring me back up.

There is a lady in the group I went to yesterday who is hypoglycenic and is using the core program. She said she's more satisfied with the core because she can eat as much as she wants or needs without having to count everyday. She still has her 35 weekly points she can use. She can tell when she is losing by the way her clothes fit her. Sounds like she is doing well. any
