My now ex-husband text messaged me yesterday and told me that he had just watched the judge sign our divorce decree...after 24 years of marriage, I'm officially divorced.
I don't really know how to feel or what to do. I didn't want the divorce but I know it's best for my son and for me. Mixed emotions are common I guess.
Anyway, I'm officially a single babe....yeah me! Now, on with the rest of my life!

I had a great time last night with some friends from church...and I'm planning on having a wonderful day alone, doing girlie/homeowner remodeling stuff. Interesting combo hugh? LOL..
OK...I've been struggling with the weight loss but now...the divorce is a done deal and I'm ready to groove! Going for a long walk this morning after Sam leaves for his Dads, then I'm going to have a great day!

I'm sorry Colette...but it is a new beginning...and hopefully you will be much happier with your soon to be skinny self and find someone better more deserving of you. (I'm assuming you aren't at goal weight yet, if so delete the soon to be part.)
