ok i talked to weight watchers in my area they said i couldnt sit in on a meeting unless i joined does that sound correct when the website says i can sit in on meeting before i decied to join ??? really confused here
As far as I know you are suppose to be able to sit in one meeting before joining to see how things go. You might want to check with another meeting or call the 1-800 number.

I agree with what Chelle said. I was under the impression of the same thing.
I would call the 800 for them and get the answer straight from the horses mouth. I might even check out a different meeting ... they are run by humans who may not have the full scoop!

Did you call the 800 number to see what they had to say? That's great your hubby wants to do this with you! It sure makes it easier when you have support in the home!

One of my friends used to be my leader and she always said that people could come to one meeting for free. I would definitely check it out.
My hubby went on Atkin's once years ago to lose a bit before he went to boot camp. He dropped the weight, but he does not recommend it for a lot of weight. His uncle was on it for quite awhile and almost died because of it.

well my husband has a lot of weight to lose just like me over 200 lbs to be healthy and i told him we could join and not do the meetings unless we had to cause we really cant afford the 9 dollars a week i am just sick and i do mean sick and tired of fighting about weight and he is expecting instant results and you dont get that he just needs to be real about it
What my hubby and I did was I was the only one that joined. He just did the program with me. He lost 71 lbs! You can go look at our pics to see the difference.
