*Use this meringue recipe to top a pie...it doesn't add any points and its so good! Also, you may make merinue cookies by dropping teaspoonfulls onto a non greased baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Preheat oven to 300*F...after it's preheated, shut the oven off and let cookies dry in the oven for 1 hour or until crisp. Finally...a 0 point cookie!!!
3 Egg Whites 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch 1/4 tsp. Cream of Tartar 1/3 cup SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, Granular 1 tsp. Vanilla
1. Place egg whites in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Beat on high speed with an electric mixer using the whisk attachment until frothy. Add cornstarch, cream of tartar, SPLENDA® Granular and vanilla. Beat on high speed until slightly stiff peaks form.
Use in your favorite recipes where meringue is required.
