1 pound pork sausage 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 4 cup fat-free skim milk salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage. Break it up as it browns. When completely browned and no longer pink, drain off all but 2 Tbsp of the fat. Add flour and stir well, let flour mixture cook for 2 minutes, but do not burn. Slowly add milk and stir frequently until it comes to a gentle boil. Let simmer until it thickens, about 10-15 minutes.
Serve over reduced fat biscuits. Each serving = 1/8th of gravy.
