I was trying on clothes today to get a size since my BIRTHDAY is tomorrow and I fit into a size 18 bottom really good. but still have to wear a szie 24W top becuase of Rita and Lucy. Yeah yeah, I have named my girl parts. Rita is my right breast and Lucy is my left. it's a coping thing from when my mother in law had breast cancer and had her left breast removed. She was having a hard time with the masectomy and so we named our boobs. We meaning Nancy, my MIL, Mary my SIL, and Lori, My BIL's wife. That way Nancy could say good bye and greive the lost of Mildred It's part of our YA YA Sisterhood. Now we are just waiting for the 2nd coming of Christ and the ressurection where "Not a hair on the head will be lost" and Mildred will be restored to the proper owner.
What a precious thing to do for your MIL! Wish I was that close to my hubby's family.

My MIL was dianosed with breast cancer a few days before Christmas in 2004. The year that we moved from Utah to Iowa. She passed away last June. The cancer spread undetected to her liver. After it was found there, she passed away 2 weeks later. I am still in the virtual doghouse for moving my husband here and not staying there. We did make it back to Utah before she died. We got to Utah on a Friday and she passed away that Monday with the Funeral Thursday. It wasn't much of a funeral however. It was supposed to be graveside at 11 AM. It was over by 10:30 AM as FIL wished it. He was gone from the cemetary by 10:50 when nieghbors and friends started showing up. We did a luncheon at their church building however.
