My friend Javerne found a set of 1970's WW recipe cards at a garage sale and got them for me. Some of the recipes are pretty tasty sounding...some are...well...hillariously scarey!
I found that these recipe cards are rather infamous...and one of the most infamous (which I found while browsing through the recipe cards this morning is...ta da!!!
When I googled "Fluffy Mackeral Pudding" I found a website that had this to say about this dubious taste treat...
"Once upon a time the world was young and the words "mackerel" and "pudding" existed far, far away from one another.
"One day, that all changed. And then, whoever was responsible somehow thought the word fluffy would help.
"Oh, and eggs, too."
Enjoy girlfriends! The next time we are trying to choke down something that is points friendly but not so tasty...just remember...it could be worse!
